The appearance of winter scarves and gloves are a sure sign that the weather is changing. They are also a happy reminder that the holiday season is just around the corner, and we wanted to let you know about SEPTA service and special events for this time of joy and festivity. On Thanksgiving Day, Regional Rail service will operate on a “Sunday” schedule, please consult your timetable or check the SEPTA website for route and service information so you won’t be late to Grandma’s or the parade in Center City.
A special holiday schedule will operate on Christmas Day and additional late night rail service will be available for New Years Eve revelers attending the fireworks. Please look for these special holiday timetables at your Regional Rail Station or on the SEPTA website. Rail Ticket Office hours will change during the holiday season with special hours at selected stations for the Thanksgiving Day parade and on Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Please look for signs at your ticket office or check here. Everyone in Rail Transportation wishes you and your family a warm, safe, and joyous holiday season, and the hope for a peaceful and happy New Year. Happy Holidays and Thank You for Riding SEPTA |
